Concept
One continuous ground — sport, culture and ecology layered rather than zoned.
The master plan redraws an underused riverside district as a civic commons. A continuous, gently contoured ground carries pedestrians, cyclists and sports fields without barriers.
Cultural pavilions are punctuated along a central promenade, each tuned to a different register — from an open-air amphitheatre to quiet reading rooms — while the periphery is rewilded with native planting and storm-water wetlands.
Infrastructure is treated as landscape. Car parking is buried beneath soft mounds, service cores are wrapped in planting, and a new pedestrian bridge re-stitches two halves of the neighbourhood across the river.
